This document discusses representing bookstore inventory data as matrices and using matrix algebra. It provides inventory quantities for two bookstores, Crazy Ken's Campus Bookstore and Wacky Wally's College Bookstore, categorized by book type and binding. It then asks the reader to (a) represent each bookstore's inventory as a matrix, (b) do the same for the other bookstore, and (c) use matrix algebra to determine the total inventory of a company formed by merging the two bookstores.
