Two actors are having a conversation while sitting indoors. A typical studio setup would place the two actors centrally facing each other with three light sources - a key light, fill light, and back light. Multiple cameras would be positioned to capture mid shots of each actor's head and shoulders. Microphones would also be placed and adjusted to properly capture the actors' dialogue. With access to a studio, students could setup and record this scene from three camera angles to later edit the footage together.

Draw a typical studio set-up for a scene in which two actors are sitting centrally in an indoor
location, having a conversation.
Consider:
 placement of actors
 placement of three light sources (key light, fill light and back light)
 placement of cameras and what they will focus on (e.g. mid shot showing head and shoulders
of both actors)
 type and placement of microphones.
Challenge
If you have access to a studio set-up, in groups, set up your scene and record it using three
cameras so you can try editing the footage together later.
