represent data.
­ A capital letter is usually used to label a matrix.
­ The dimensions of a matrix are the number of rows
and the number of columns.
­ To indicate a matrix they are written with " [ ] "

are 32 female and 28 males. In grade 10 there are
207 females and 193 males. In grade 11 there are
196 females and 180 males. In grade 12 there are
182 females and 212 males.
