Dissertation Case Study for Attitude of British Customer Towards Hospitality ...DissertationFirst
Consumer behaviour is a study of why the consumers behave the way they do. It has been mostly observed that customers are often segmented into different groups and it so happens that individuals within the same group also behave differently. The factors which affect the perceptions, beliefs and attitude of customers are different for different individuals and the intensity with which different factors affect the individuals is also different. The products and services which satisfy the customer at one point might not satisfy him in another situation and needs and preferences differ from situation to situation. It has also been observed that products and services which satisfy one customer might not satisfy another customer.
In the service industry, and particularly for hospitality sector, customer satisfaction is of utmost importance. For hospitality sector, it is building up a strong base of satisfied customers that will bring new business to the hotel and strengthen its position in the industry. The expectations of the customer must be met in order to bring them back to the same hotel as an unsatisfied customer will never return to the same hotel. Also, it is important to raise the service standards every time because customers always look for differentiated and specialised services every time they move into the hotel.
This report particularly deals with the Marriott Hotel and presents the position of Marriott in the minds of the British hospitality customers. Marriott has been able to build up a brand image and have services and products which are the best as per the industry standards and norms. The report also discusses the various measures that Marriott has undertaken to meet the growing demands and needs of the customers. Marriott has always tried to establish close connectivity with its customers and keeps a track of their feedbacks and tries to improve its services as per the expectations and demands of the guests.
Dissertation : A Critical Analysis of Facebook as an Effective Loyalty-Buildi...Wansiri Supsrisanjai
This document is a dissertation submitted by Wansiri Supsrisanjai in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a Master of Arts degree from the European Business School London in September 2011. The dissertation examines Facebook as an effective loyalty-building tool in the cosmetic industry. Through quantitative and qualitative research methods including surveys and interviews, the dissertation aims to determine if "liking" a brand's Facebook page can lead to customer loyalty and how Facebook experiences may affect customer behavior. The key findings show that while Facebook offers engagement opportunities, companies are currently unable to leverage these interactions to achieve loyalty. The dissertation provides recommendations for how cosmetic brands can better utilize Facebook to motivate ongoing customer engagement and move customers up the loyalty ladder.

How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. 2. What is LRG
Les Roches Gruyère University of Applied Sciences is a new
University that received official federal authorization on
the 2nd of July 2008 from the Swiss government.
Second private UAS ever approved in Switzerland
First private UAS in the hotel management field
In January 2009, it launched a Bachelor of Science in
Hospitality Management.
3. What is LRG
http://www.bbt.admin.ch/themen/hochschulen/00215/00232/index.html?lang=fr
4. What are the criteria to be a UAS
1. To deliver a Bologna Style degree that meets Swiss
entry requirements
2. To deliver post graduate degree: (Master of Advanced
Studies)
3. To undertake Research
4. To undertake consultancy
5. Why the name of LRG?
One of our prime objective was to launch a new
university that would receive immediate recognition
throughout the world and the hospitality industry. The
name of Les Roches is very well known and is among
the top three hospitality schools in the world, hence
taking advantage of its prime position and recognised
brand name.
We were not allowed to use the name “Glion” as it is
the name of a town and we do not meet the criteria
necessary to use it.
NEASC and the Swiss Government did not allow us to
use “Les Roches University of Applied Sciences”
because too close and similar to the current Les Roches
International School of Hotel Management.
6. Why the name of LRG?
To clearly differentiate this new university and as it will
be registered in the Canton of Fribourg and more
specifically in the Gruyère region (which is different
from the cheese which is spelled with an “s” at the end
of “Gruyères”), the word Gruyère was added to the
name. Also, the main campus will be in Bulle which is
also part of the Gruyère region.
Hence Les Roches-Gruyère University of Applied
Sciences was chosen to ensure quick recognition within
the industry through the name of “Les Roches”, and to
differentiate it from the current Les Roches through its
distinctive location in the Gruyère region.
Logo was changed recently to put more emphasis on
the UAS aspect rather than LRG
