Spring Framework The Spring Framework is an application framework and inversion of control container for the Java platform. The framework's core features can be used by any Java application, but there are extensions for building web applications on top of the Java EE platform detailed in ppt.
Key considerations for multithreaded architectures in LabVIEWPiotr Demski
This presentation was given at LabVIEW Developer Days 2018 in Katowice. There are two key points discussed: first is using QHM architecture to improve user interface responsiveness. Second is using multiple threads (/loops/processes/actors/...) for doing "N same things" in parallel - the example case here is test stand with four test slots that make the same tests.
The slides themselves (without the presenter discussing them :) might not give the full picture of those topics, but they might give you just enough to think about some aspects of multithreaded LabVIEW architectures.

Java is one of the most popular programming languages in the whole world. It was developed by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems. It’s a core component and powers the dynamic Java platform. It follows the principle, “Write once, Run everywhere at any time.” This is the biggest benefit of Java. Once, you have written the code, it’s supported by all platforms and doesn’t require any further edits. This attribute of JAVA makes it accessible on distributed systems like the Internet. This is why JAVA continues to be the most popular choice of web and app developers.

Climate Science Flows: Enabling Petabyte-Scale Climate Analysis with the Eart...Globus
The Earth System Grid Federation (ESGF) is a global network of data servers that archives and distributes the planet’s largest collection of Earth system model output for thousands of climate and environmental scientists worldwide. Many of these petabyte-scale data archives are located in proximity to large high-performance computing (HPC) or cloud computing resources, but the primary workflow for data users consists of transferring data, and applying computations on a different system. As a part of the ESGF 2.0 US project (funded by the United States Department of Energy Office of Science), we developed pre-defined data workflows, which can be run on-demand, capable of applying many data reduction and data analysis to the large ESGF data archives, transferring only the resultant analysis (ex. visualizations, smaller data files). In this talk, we will showcase a few of these workflows, highlighting how Globus Flows can be used for petabyte-scale climate analysis.
Modern design is crucial in today's digital environment, and this is especially true for SharePoint intranets. The design of these digital hubs is critical to user engagement and productivity enhancement. They are the cornerstone of internal collaboration and interaction within enterprises.

Designing for Privacy in Amazon Web ServicesKrzysztofKkol1
Data privacy is one of the most critical issues that businesses face. This presentation shares insights on the principles and best practices for ensuring the resilience and security of your workload.
Drawing on a real-life project from the HR industry, the various challenges will be demonstrated: data protection, self-healing, business continuity, security, and transparency of data processing. This systematized approach allowed to create a secure AWS cloud infrastructure that not only met strict compliance rules but also exceeded the client's expectations.
Enhancing Research Orchestration Capabilities at ORNL.pdfGlobus
Cross-facility research orchestration comes with ever-changing constraints regarding the availability and suitability of various compute and data resources. In short, a flexible data and processing fabric is needed to enable the dynamic redirection of data and compute tasks throughout the lifecycle of an experiment. In this talk, we illustrate how we easily leveraged Globus services to instrument the ACE research testbed at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility with flexible data and task orchestration capabilities.
2. Before You Start OOP
•You must know how and when to use below
concepts:
•Constants
•Variables
•Expressions
•Conditions
•Loops
3. Why Object Oriented Programming
• Near to real life objects
• Modularity
• Reusability, inherit from what you have already done
• Code maintenance
• Security
• Flexibility
• Productivity
• Almost all types of apps are developed using OOP
paradigm
4. Introduction to Java
• Portability: Write Once, Run Anywhere
• Memory management is done by language runtime
• Robust, Secure and Reliable – No pointer arithmetic,
compile time error checking, bytecode verification, etc.
• Strong libraries of components available
• Supports distributed applications, multithreading
• Open Standard – Specs and implementations are
developed separately
5. Brief History
• Microprocessor are key component in consumer-electronics
• 1991 - Sun Microsystems funded an internal project led by James
Gosling, to write a language that shall execute on all microprocessor
for consumer-electronics.
• 1993, the web wide adaptation given rise to Java because Sun
Micrsosystems launched features to create web applications
• Java become popular because of web, not for its initial goal.
• In 2009, Oracle acquired Sun Microsystems
8. Make HelloWorldApp program
• Make and run first java program
• Learn basic DOS commands
• cd
• dir
• change drive
• mkdir
• Open a path directly in DOS
9. Language Basics - Primitive Types
• Variables – Name, Type, Size and Value
• Primitive Types are basic data types provided by Java.
• Names, Category, Memory Size, Literals
• Complex/Composite data types are created using
primitives and other composite types.
10. Language Basics
• Escape Sequences,
• Format Specifiers
• System.print* methods
• Getting different types of input from User
