The insurance company wanted single sign-on for members, scalable messaging, and federation between on-premise and cloud users. Mint developed a custom service bus to provide reliable messaging across the company's infrastructure and into public/private cloud. The solution uses JSON web tokens for secure internal/external communication and token-based authentication across multiple domains without reauthenticating.
