John Wooden was considered one of the greatest basketball coaches of all time, leading the UCLA Bruins to 10 national championships. He developed the Pyramid of Success which outlined life lessons for his players focused on industriousness, friendship, loyalty, cooperation, and confidence. Wooden believed leadership requires caring about your people beyond just results on the court or material gains, getting to know their lives and families to build a strong organization through compassion.
