Language, Culture and Politics Association (LCP-A), Tischner European University, Kraków (TEU), together with Lynn
University, West Palm Beach and University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, Rio Grande Valley are pleased to announce the 8th annual
conference of the international Language, Cultural and Politics Association to be held in the Kraków on June 10, 2016. The
conference titled ‘Linking Cultures and Business, Empowering Communities’ asks scholars and professionals from various disciplines
to reflect upon intercultural dialogue and communication, its use and significance in language, culture and politics. Special focus shall
be on the rights of cultural communities for autonomy, expression and sustainability. From its inception, LCP-A has taken a
multidisciplinary cross-institutional approach, encouraging scholars in the humanities and social sciences and experts in the fields of
marketing, communication and business to congregate on a common platform. Special emphasis, this year, will be placed upon
applied research. LCP-A is most interested in papers that show specifically how research can be applied to business ventures and
benefit local communities. Students are also most welcome to join the conference either as speakers or participants.
Abstract Submission: We invite submissions of individual papers, paper sessions and panel discussions. For individual submissions,
please submit a 200 word abstract (MS Word document format). The abstract should not include information about the author/s. This
is necessary for the peer-review process. Personal details such as name/s, institutional affiliation and email address should be
submitted on a separate page. Proposals for paper sessions or panel discussions should have three to five presenters. Abstracts for
proposals should also be submitted without identifying the authors. Authors' information should be on a separate page. All abstracts
must be received by April 15, 2016. Please send all materials and inquiries to contact@lcp-a.org. After a double-blind review
process, the authors of accepted papers and sessions will be notified by May 05, 2016. Registration will be open May 04 – June 8,
2016.

The conference fee includes the conference fee, conference materials and all meals. The conference fee also entitles to a year
long LCP-A membership which include subscription to a one year ‘Kultura i Polityka’ Journal. Participants are expected to arrange
their own accommodations. The conference organizers would be happy to assist in arrange for discounted rates in local hotels. Hotel
information will be forthcoming. Selected conference papers will be published in a special volume. Authors interested in publication
are requested to submit 6,000-word (maximum) papers prepared using APA style by March 31, 2017.
