BSDH.
I have known Linda as a student in my course, Teaching Strategies for Health Care
Professionals, in the BSDH Degree Completion program in the department of dental hygiene at
Farmingdale State College. Linda was an outstanding student with an exemplary college GPA.
Her academic excellence and achievements precede her as evidenced by her many honors and
awards. She is an individual who strives for excellence in every aspect of her life and perseveres
with dedication and fortitude in achieving her goals. As a student in my course she demonstrated
great communication, writing, and leadership skills. She was an asset to every group interaction,
discussion, and activity.
She also is an asset to allied dental education with her past experience as an instructor in dental
assisting and in her current role as a professional educator for Waterpik, Inc.
Linda also displayed tremendous fortitude in research and publication as represented by her role
as a research assistant during her dental hygiene practicum in the BSDH Degree Completion
program conducted at Staten Island University Hospital in New York.
