1. 1. Laura is from Canada. She speaks two languages: English
and French. She lives in a beautiful town near the capital of
the country. She lives with her mother because she is sick.
Laura takes care of her mother in the hospital at night.
2. Sonia went to Disneyland with her parents last year. She
had a very good time. Disneyland is a very famous place all
over the world. Sonia’s parents bought her toys and sweat
shirts with Mickey Mouse on. They speak English in
Disneyland because this place is in the United States.
3. Myotherisa wonderfulwoman. Sometimes, shescoldsme
but I love her anyways. She is very busy all day long because
she has 4 children. Her youngest baby is Charles. He is a
wonderful boy. I love him very much. I will take care of him
always.
4. This parade on November the 20th
in Mexico is a big
celebration. Many students march on this day and after the
parade they have an after-party at school. Julia marched this
year. She liked it. It was a bit tiresome because she had to
walk for an hour and a half; but she had rehearsals before the
parade for two months so, she was a little prepared. She
didn’t dehydrate because she is strong and had a good
breakfast that day.

2. 5. Benjamin wants to be a doctor. He thinks this occupation is
very interesting. Doctors have a very tiresome life, but he
doesn’t care. He likes to help people and take care of their
health. Robert’s father is a doctor. He is a psychiatrist and he
is the best doctor in Detroit; therefore, he is busy all the time.
He spends time with his family on the weekend. Benjamin is
his big son and he is very proud of him.
6. Jessica has a big garden because she has a big house. Her
gardener takes care of the garden every day. He waters the
plants and trims the trees. Jessica invites her friends for a cup
of coffee in the summer every Sunday. They spend this time
in this beautiful garden talking and having a good time
together.
