Next, students will spell the months playing Hangman on a whiteboard and writing the words. Finally, students will make a classroom calendar by designing pictures for each month on computers and printing their calendar. Kelli will check comprehension throughout and provide additional lessons if needed to ensure students understand the months by the end with 100% accuracy.

Peek at the Week: o We practiced for graduation every day and it really paid off! o Students will be working on their memory books and writing about what they enjoyed in Kindergarten. o We practiced some reading, writing and math skills as a group to help with the start of next year! o Students completed Chapter 12 in math and did a very nice job! o I also did many group and individual assessments for the end of year. May 25th , 2018 Thank You Thank you for coming to Kindergarten Graduation. The students worked really hard and were so proud to perform for you. We appreciate your help and support that made the show a success. First Grade Students naturally lose some academic skills while they are enjoying the summer. Enclosed are some simple ideas you can do with your child to continue learning while not in school!End of the Year The last day of school is June 1st. Student report cards will be mailed home. They will not be handed out on the last day of school. Many items will be coming home the last few days, though! Rest items, extra clothing and many projects your child has completed. It has been a pleasure to teach your child this year! I wish you the best in first grade and will remember and miss each smiling face! Have a great summer! -Mrs. Creehan Field Day On Thursday, May 31st , we will be having a fun Field Day! Please have your child wear sneakers, comfortable clothing, sun lotion and bring a labeled water bottle!
