John F. Kennedy was born in 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts. He came from a large Irish Catholic family and had 3 children with his wife Jacqueline Bouvier. Kennedy graduated from Harvard University and served in the US Navy during World War II. He went on to have a career in politics, serving in the US House of Representatives and Senate before becoming the 35th President of the United States in 1961 until his assassination in 1963.
