John F. Kennedy was born in 1917 in Massachusetts and graduated from Harvard in 1940. He served in the Navy during World War II until being honorably discharged in 1945. Kennedy was elected as a Senator from Massachusetts in 1952 and went on to be elected as the 35th President of the United States in 1960, becoming the youngest man ever elected to the office. Kennedy faced many challenges as president including the Cuban Missile Crisis before he was assassinated in Dallas, Texas in 1963.
