  • 6. Community Conditions More Complex & Interconnected A NEW DIRECTION 16.3% of households in Lake County had income below the poverty level in the last 12 months. This is higher than the national average of 12.6% 21.3% of children in Lake County are food insecure. 32% of food insecure children are not likely income eligible for federal assistance programs. 34% of adults in Lake County are obese. Lake County’s graduation rates rank in the bottom 11% of the State.

  • 19. United for Families Network Create a community of providers, including non- profits, government entities, faith-based organizations, and corporations that deliver programs/services to the ALICE population in Lake County.
