Three hospital management systems used in the Philippines are described. The SPEED system is an early warning disease surveillance system launched in 2010 by the Department of Health and WHO to detect potential outbreaks. PhilHealth Link is a call center supporting PhilHealth that helps maximize reimbursement for local government health facilities. Mother Bles Birthing Clinics are networks of birthing centers started in Leyte Province that provide accessible maternal care, primarily for indigent PhilHealth members, through a public-private partnership model.
