The students listed additional things they wanted to learn about dolphins. They planned how to decorate their classroom door and welcome a new dolphin puppet mascot. An index was made of topics to research dolphins further.

A happy school of little red fish lived in the sea, except for one black fish named Neda-Que-Neda who swam faster than the others. One day, a hungry tuna fish ate all the red fish except Neda-Que-Neda. As he swam alone, feeling scared and sad, he discovered many fascinating sea creatures that cheered him up. He then found a group of red fish like himself hiding in fear of being eaten. Neda-Que-Neda had an idea to swim together in a way that made them look like a giant fish, frightening off larger predators.
