2. Task – 20 MINUTES
1) Read the essay you have been given.
2) You need the following colour pens (or similar) to complete this task:
Red = Examples from each text
Blue = Modes of Documentary and associated conventions
Green = Film Language and Theory
With these colours, you must highlight the areas that this student have
completed effectively in answering this question.
3) With the colour Orange, identify 3 areas that could be EBI
You must support the areas you highlight with brief justifications
You should conclude on your analysis by writing a paragraph explaining what
the candidate succeeded in the most (WWW)

3. Which documentary techniques are most effective in presenting spectators
with ‘the real’? Refer to at least two documentaries you have studied.
Homework:
You are going to complete a word processed answer in relation to the 3 case
study films (and your own if you wish).
