This document summarizes what a student knows, wants to know, and learned about Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) as an approach for primary education English classes. The student began knowing that CLIL uses a foreign language as a medium for learning rather than just learning the language itself and that CLIL lessons are more meaningful for students, a key principle of second language acquisition. They wanted to know what makes a CLIL lesson effective and how CLIL compares to other methodologies. After the block, the student learned some procedures of Communicative Language Teaching and how to analyze materials and activities for CLIL lessons.
