PAN Parks is a European organization focused on protecting wilderness areas across the continent. They work to ensure 1 million hectares of wilderness are guaranteed protected by 2015. So far they have achieved over 560,000 hectares of protected wilderness across 8 national parks, focusing on conserving biodiversity and unspoiled nature for current and future generations.
