The Knights of Columbus has expanded its Christian Refugee Relief Fund by launching a national campaign to raise funds and awareness for Christians and religious minorities persecuted in the Middle East. The Knights of Columbus has previously contributed over $3 million in aid and its expanded efforts include a recent article in the New York Times Magazine and a nationwide television commercial. The organization founded the Christian Refugee Relief Fund in 2014 and has used over $3 million raised to support medical facilities and build housing for displaced Christians and other religious groups in the Middle East.
