My Experience With My Mentor
I can still remember the talk with my friends before September when I told them how scared I was to
take this course since I could not imagine me, myself, to handle a 90 minute class on my own. When I
was informed that I was assigned to an ALI level 6 class, I was shocked. I could not help thinking
about that I was actually a level 6 student last year and how could I teach students that had the same
language proficiency as I did. I was anxious, panic, confused and unsure about myself before my first
observation. I kept emailing my supervisor and told her how I was not confident about myself; I
remember I failed to speak English fluently for the beginning few weeks since I noticed that my

Nevertheless, punk shouldn t be held to such high standards of influence. It s influential; it s
something that made misfits feel as though they had a place, but not something to be held to the

Alexander Graham Bell
He was born to Alexander Melville Bell and Eliza Grace Symonds. His mother was almost deaf, and
his father taught elocution to the deaf, which I find very ironic. This ended up influencing Alexander s
later career choice as teacher of the deaf. At age 11 he entered the Royal High School at Edinburgh,
but he did not enjoy the compulsory curriculum, and he left school at age 15 without graduating.
Alexander invented the first ever telephone. He lived from 1847 to 1922, he was a scottish born
american scientist. He worked at a school for the deaf while trying to invent a machine that would
send sound by electricity. Bell was granted the first official patent for his telephone in March 1876,
though he would later face years of legal challenges to his claim that he was its sole inventor, resulting
in one of history s longest patent battles. When he got his machine to work, he offered to sell his
patent to Western Union for 100 thousand dollars. Western Union turned down his offer because the
telephone did not really hit it off at first. So Alexander decided to make his own telephone company.
The Bell Telephone Company, a common law joint stock company, was organized in Boston,
Massachusetts on July 9, 1877, by Alexander Graham Bell s father in law Gardiner Greene Hubbard,

have high genetic diversity which is characterized by regional variation which makes treating the
infection more challenging. Hepatitis patients are often prescribed ribavirin and interferon; but current
