About Kirsty Mitchell Artwork
• British Artist who is interested in: costume, performance, fine art, storytelling, graphics and
photography
• Her personal experiences and her mum being tragically diagnosed with cancer brought a
change in herself and artwork.
• She wanted to portray her emotions and love for people in her beautiful photographs
• She found photography like her escape and therapy where emotions such as joy, grief, loss
were portrayed.
• Photography became her passion and she echoed stories to do with her experiences , dreams
and her mother
• She produced a series called ‘Wonderland’ and found this a very transforming process and
journey
