Kim Smilay is the Director of Publisher and Library Relations at CLOCKSS. Liaise between LOCKSS team and Publishers
• Has the publisher contacted us with a question or issue?
• Has the LOCKSS team found an issue?
• Create and follow up tickets with publishers and the
LOCKSS team until resolved.
• A few examples:
• LOCKSS team cannot find a journal’s manifest page in
• the expected place.
• LOCKSS team has not received an expected FTP delivery.
• A publisher notices that we seem to be missing
a volume or year.
• A publisher is changing platforms.

• Based on ingest statistics from LOCKSS team.
• Individual publisher calculations.
• Communicate amounts to Accountant.
• Give Publishers with large amounts due a
heads up.
