Kidsbridge Tolerance Museum aims to expand its teaching beyond the physical museum through a virtual presence in Second Life. This would allow for interactive role playing and hands-on learning outside of museum walls. Some benefits include broadening outreach, follow up lessons and activities, and creating a permanent "Empathy Portal". However, there are also concerns around age restrictions, technology access, security, training needs, funding, and resource constraints for a small non-profit.
