Tŷ Gwyn School is a school for pupils aged 3-19 years old with complex learning needs such as profound and multiple learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. The school has 140 pupils, 41% of whom are eligible for free school meals and 40% from minority ethnic backgrounds. Most pupils, 92%, are working below National Curriculum Level 1. The school staff consists of 117 people including 28 teachers, 70 teaching assistants, 12 health staff, 5 administrators, and 2 estates workers.
