technical support ofdesign work byteam members, andpresentation of status to topmanagement and client at specified intervals. As an
architect, delegated design, and drafting skillsout to team, especiallywhendeadlines approached or fundingbecame scarce. Monitored the
profitabilityindex of eachproject, and actedproactivelyandinnovativelyto keepproject deliverycosts minimal. Oversawthe initiation,
planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, andclosure phasesof each project; there were oftenmultiple projects being managed
simultaneously.
Accomplishments:
Project oversight of13-storeytwintowers ofthe TollwayTowers, Dallas, Texas. Project cost was $5 million. Negotiated mutually
acceptable professionalfees withthe client, assembled a designteam, supervised the design, bidding, andcontract award
processes, andmanaged the executionof the project to completion.
Coordinated and oversaw the complex relationships, schedules and remunerations of the architect, graphic designer, mechanical
and electricalconsultants duringthe project planningandexecution phases. The project was concludedwiththe client's constant
input and to the client's satisfaction; the expectedinternal profitabilityof the project was 33%, andthis goal was exceededby12%
due to constitution of the team, stringent adherence to the schedule, andsuccessful shortening of the lagtimes between work
phases and outsourced work. The project was concluded one monthaheadof schedule.
Managed the foodcourt project construction of North Park Mall, Dallas, Texas. Eight foodvendors' facilities were successfully
delivered withinspecified cost, schedule, and qualitybaselines. The project was so successful that Omniplan's 50th anniversary
celebration photographs were taken at the project site. Rewarded bya payraise at the beginning of the next year for the excellent
work done at NorthPark.
Managed the construction administration phase ofthe Padre Staples Mall, Corpus Christi, Texas. This included monthlyvisits to
ascertain work progress, interface with contractors andvendors, andthe authorization ofpayment certificates for work phases
accomplished. This project was a $15 million renovation/expansion project; reported to the principalincharge, andthe project was
completed within budget and onschedule.
Dallas Galleria Renovation Projects, Dallas, Texas, a multi-million renovationproject required the preparation of construction
documents, oversight ofbidding, andmanaging the projects from the HRaspect. The projects includedan ice rink, a night club, and
accessibility parking re-modifications.
Schematics design, project management, and bidding activities on 'The Rayzor RanchTown Center' project inDenton, Texas. Served
as a supportingproject manager on this project; supervising the activities ofthe project architect, draftspersons, interior designers,
and externalmechanical/electrical consultants. Playedasupportive role inthe presentation team; theproject cost was $12 million plus.

Monitored andcontrolled Nbora Housing Estate andKaru Housing Estate projects in Abuja from 2004 to 2005; an N200,000 per
month project management consultingassignment that involved oversight of the maincontractor's progress, and reporting job
status to the funding agency. These projects were worth over 500 million Naira, and required anindependent assessment ofwork
done andrecommendations for intermediate payment certificates froma reputable project management professional.
Design andconstructionof renovation works to the six-storeyCrystal Bank headquarters building, Lagos, Nigeria, a 6 millionNaira
