to do with you &
your success

8. Here’s the thing

9. The most compelling
people & organisations
in the world…

10. Know clearly
what their…

11. Identity, purpose,
mission & vision are!

12. They also know
the strategies
required to…

13. Pursue their vision & live
within their highest
values to get there

14. People like the
late Steve Jobs,
Elon Musk,
Sir Richard
Branson…

15. Warren Buffet,
Jack Ma and…

16. Organizations
like Google,
Facebook &
Apple come
to mind

17. NOT taking the time to
clarify your identity,
purpose, mission
& vision…

18. Will be detrimental to
living COMPELLINGLY!

19. Do be mindful this is NOT
about being world famous
or uber wealthy

20. This can apply
to a stay-at-
home mum
who sees
herself as a…

21. Full time mother devoted
to raising successful kids

22. Who become meaningful
contributions to society
in the future

23. Or the social
worker whose
heart beats for
the
underprivileged

24. And the less fortunate
and knows clearly…

25. Who he or she is, what
he or she lives for

26. How exactly he or she
wants to play their role
in society and…

27. How he or she envisions
a better future

28. And this list goes
on and on!

29. So here’s
the thing…

30. People have a
self-image &
will often…

31. Stay consistent to how
they view themselves!

32. They will proceed to do
what that image
or identity is…

33. Expected to do in their
own perception

34. Remember how as teens
we go through…

35. A period of
identity crisis?

36. Little wonder
why our
actions can
often be on
extremes &
confusing

37. Because in that season,
we have yet to…

38. Have a congruent
identity

39. So how does this identity
practically play out
on a daily basis?

40. I’ll give you some
examples and hopefully
you see how
powerful this is

41. Let’s say we
have a
Michelin
starred chef

42. As this chef views himself
having achieved such
an accolade…

43. He will likely take
pride in what
he does

44. How he
prepares his
dishes and
even…

45. Goes about innovating
just to stay on top
of his game

46. Now let’s take
an Olympic
athlete who
sees himself
as…

47. One of the
best in the
whole wide
world

48. He will carefully observe
his sleep, water intake
& diet and…

49. Disciplines himself daily
just to get even more
skilful at what he does

50. How about the
social misfit
who in his
growing up
years was…

51. Labelled a
good-for-nothing…

52. And ACTUALLY believes it
rather than reject and
disprove with his actions

53. As a last example, what
about the beautiful
dancer who first…

54. Sees herself as
beautiful &
dances
gracefully
but over time…

55. Perhaps due to some
jealous friends, was told
she’s actually just
average and…

56. Her dance moves are
nothing special and like
the last case, believes
in it?

57. By the way…

58. Do you
remember the
story of the ugly
duckling?

59. Can you see how in each
case, the individual
does…

60. What he or she does that
naturally follows his or
her self-image?

61. Are there times when a
person does something…

62. That’s not congruent to
his own self-image?

63. Yes of course!

64. There will be and it’s
the minority rather
than the norm.

66. See myself as such
and do what I do to
assist people

67. So here’s what it
boils down to…

68. How do you SEE
yourself?

69. What we’ve discovered
so far is…

70. What & how a person
sees and believes
about himself will…

71. Greatly impact his
external life and
the results of it

72. So if you are conscious
of your identity or
self-image and…

73. It’s already
empowering
you… GREAT!

74. And if not…

75. NOW is the best time to
get clear about how
you’ve been seeing
yourself…

76. Your own identity and
examine carefully if it
actually empowers you

77. If it doesn’t, change it
because your VERY LIFE
depends on it
