Phresh Kids Yoga
Classes will be taught on specially designed Phresh Mats with playful iconic
symbols that are a ‘map’ for guiding positions and facilitating technically
correct hand, foot, and body placement. Based on anatomical averages, the
unique design increases safety and physical alignment, promotes
neuromuscular development and focused learning, creates flexibility,
endurance, strength, and style. Turns Yoga into a fun game.
Nutrition Lessons
Kate will be teaching progressive and healthy practices during this lesson.
Your teens will be learning how to make fresh juice, super food smoothies,
dehydrated snacks and games, teaching teens about nutrition hero and
bandit foods. They will learn about nutrients, how to read labels and
understand why certain ingredients should be avoided.
Allergy-Free Lunch
EPIC Teens Program is based on the Eating for Health model. Lunch will be
based on nutrient dense living foods, a balanced diet, and a non-judgmental
approach. There is no one-way program in nutrition and our mission is to
teach teens that individuality is key to optimal health. There will be no
processed foods, peanuts, tree-nuts, seafood, cows milk, wheat, soy, sugar
or corn. Organic, free-range grass fed hard-boiled eggs will be served,
please notify Kate if any food allergy pertains to eggs. Lunch will be served
as a buffet for teens to choose from a wonderful array of dishes.
Teens Training
Personal training is a fundamental aspect of connecting mind with body.
Celebrity trainer Charles Katrell will activate your teens with safe training
techniques that will get your kids in shape and feeling great!
Circle
To end the day at our EPIC Teens Program, circle will teach grounding and
breathing techniques to increase awareness, focus, and positive self-talk.
Teens will leave feeling inspired and empowered with new skills to direct
positive energy into their day and the rest of their lives!
3. Bobbi Hamilton, a lifelong devotee of
movement, began as a child athlete.
She trained under world-renowned
Olympic diving coaches, yoga, dance,
baton, and martial arts teachers and
competed in the All-American, Junior
Olympic national, and world levels.
Bobbi has studied with a Tibetan Chi
Master, and continues to deepen her
study and practice and deliver the
