The maintenance of waterways is expensive. Optimization of reconstruction projects can save money and limit hindrance for the public. In this presentation I show how the implementation of Spatial OLAP can give better insight in the quality of the construction of waterway banks. By spatially overlaying inspection results with construction records, a better estimation can be made about the overall quality, potential danger and repair costs. Spatial OLAP is an excellent way to provide insight into the different variables involved in the planning proces of maintenance.

WHAT WAS DONE
Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen
My name is KF and I come from Senate Properties, the Real Estate Company of the Finnish Government.
Im going to talk about a changing world, digitalization, and how work is changing and how it is affecting the working arenas of tomorrow.’
I will also present two case studies on this.
First a Question: 1.) How many of you work in a own office room? 2.) How many of you are working totally mobile and paperless without an own assigned desk? OK, let´s take a look at what is happening
If you look back 60 years. Between 1955-2014, almost 90% of the Fortune 500 companies are gone, 9 of 10 companies vanished. What about looking 10 years into the future?
Arvioidaan että jopa 40% nykyisistä yrityksistä tulee häviämään seuraavan 10 vuoden aikana.
”Change will never be this slow again” – ”Muutos ei koskaan enää tule olemaan näin hidasta” sanoi Gordon Moore, Intelin perustaja jo vuonna 1965, ja hän oli oikeassa.
(Overestimate on shortterm, but underestimate on long)
Maslowin tarvehierarkiaan on siis tullut kaksi uutta perustasoa.

Yksilön areena on koko maailma ”I come from the Internet” – ”olen kotoisin internetistä”
ORGANISAATIOHIERARKIAT MURTUVAT. Autoritäärinen, hierarkinen ohjaaminen ei toimi.
Menemme kohti peer-to-peer taloutta, ihmiseltä ihmiselle. Emme voi enää organisoitua hierarkioihin vaan meidän täytyy ratkaista ongelmia ihminen ihmiselle.
Tämä muuttaa myös ANSAINTALOGIIKAT ja VALTARAKENTEET
Jos haluaa lämpimään eteläamerikkaan, Brasiliassa pääsee omaan rantahuvilaan ja omaan yksityiseen hiekkarantaan, omistaja Anthony vuokraa rantahuvilaansa Brasilian Santa Catarinassa 76 eurolla per yö.
Tämän on mahdollistanut Airbnb – tosiaan muutaman kaverin v. 2008 kehittämä sovellus NYC:ssä, voi yöpyä ilmapatjalla kämpällä,
Tänään valuaatio 10 mrd $, enemmän kuin Hyatt (Haiätt) hotellikorporaatio. Airbnb on tänä päivänä suurin majoituspalveluiden tarjoaja maailmassa.
Sitä vastaan on perinteisten Hotelliketjujen mahdoton kilpailla. Airbnb:n marginaalikustannukset on 0.

Valtarakenteet muuttuu - Johtaminen muuttuu. Verkostoja ei voi johtaa hierarkisilla malleilla
No entä Tekoäly ja robootit
1 – Middle Management – Keskijohto, työnohjaus, työtikettejen ohjaus, työn seuranta
2 – Commodity Salespeople (Ad Sales, Supplies, etc.) – Pulkkitavaran myynti, ilmoitusmyynti
3 – Report Writers, Journalists, Authors & Announcers – Paljon kirjoitustyöstä, raporttien kirjoittamisesta
4 – Accountants & Bookkeepers – Kirjanpitoon ja muita taloushallintoon liittyviä tehtäviä.
5 – Doctors – Lääketieteessä – Diagnosointi, tekoäly pystyy jo diagnosoimaan tehokkaammin kun tiimi parhaita lääkäreitä. Pystyy millisekunneissa käymään läpi kaikki aiheeseen liittyvän tutkimusdatan, analysoimaan satoja röntgen tai MRI kuvia.
As well as Laywer work, reading thru contracts, analyzing and bringing up relavant parts for decision making as well as insurance company work.
Luovuus. Vaikka tekoälyllä pystytään jo generoimaan esim. taidetta on silti inhimillinen luovuus kaukana
Sekä riskin otto, inhimillisen tekijällä.
