This study investigates the application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in simulating hemodynamics of cerebral aneurysms using phase contrast magnetic resonance imaging (PCMRI) for validation. The preliminary results indicate significant agreement between CFD simulations and PCMRI measurements of intra-aneurysmal velocity patterns, suggesting that CFD can effectively reproduce major flow features. However, further refinement and validation of CFD methods are needed to enhance their clinical applications in assessing aneurysm rupture risk and other therapeutic decisions.
