Cleaning of Air Filter
 WORKING:- It is placed on
the throttle body. It is filter the
air and remove the unwanted
particle from air like sand
particle.
 INSPECTION:-
 In first we check the air filter
paper condition . If it is
damaged then we replace it .
 Second we clean this air filter
with the help of high pressure
air and fitted again into the
engine.
Engine Oil Filter
 WORKING:-It is used for filter the engine oil . It remove
unwanted particle from the engine oil . It is mounted with
the engine oil chamber . It has two type:-
1.DIESEL ENGINE OIL FILTER:-
It is use in diesel engine .It have a large size . It is
cylindrical in shape . It has one cut and one inlet for
lubricating oil.
2.PETROL ENGINE OIL FILTER:-
It is held in petrol engine . It have small size then diesel
engine .It is same shape as diesel engine. It is inspected
during servicing period .It is also change when needed.

Working
Replacing Engine Coolant
 The cooling system should be
completely drained and refilled
with new coolant at specified
intervals.
 Touch the engine and radiator
only after ensuring that they are
cold.
 Remove the auxiliary tank cap.
 Loosen the drain plug at the
bottom of the radiator.
 Flush the radiator by using
reverse flow i.e. radiator drain
plug to auxiliary tank with clean
water and close the drain plug.
 Pour the premixed ready to use
coolant into the radiator until it is
full.
 Fill the auxiliary tank up to the
level mark and fit the tank.
Clean The Spark Plugs
When removing a spark plug use:-
 Compressed air to blow.
 Do not pull on the wire itself but remove from
the terminal boot.
 Use some system to identify the wire with a
certain plug..
 Use a deep well socket with preferably a
rubber or magnetic retainer inside.
 Be sure to clean the insulator of paint, carbon,
and oxide that forms from fuel additives.
 If the electrode is rounded off it needs to be
filed flat.
 Remove rust and carbon from the threads
with a steel brush.
 Adjust the gap between the ground and the
electrode to proper specifications.
Change Brake Pads
Unbolt

Replace Disc
1) Unbolt the brake caliper anchor plate
from the front suspension using the
ratchet, then lift the caliper and
anchor plate off of the front
suspension. Support the caliper on a
spare jack stand or any other solid
object, as long as it isn't hanging from
the brake line, which could damage
the line.
2) Use the wire cutters to remove
the brake disc retaining clips located
on the wheel lugs.
3) Slide the replacement brake disc onto
the hub. Then attach the brake caliper
anchor plate and socket.
Wheel Checking
 Wheel Alignment
 Wheel Balancing
Wheel Alignment
Main indication of incorrect wheel alignment
 Vehicle pulling on one side.
 Steering wandering.
 Hold steering.
 Insufficient self cornering .
 Uneven front tyre wear.
Wheel Balancing
When car wheels are not properly balanced, there will be vibration when the car
is driven at a higher speed on the open road. This often occurs when the car
reaches approximately 50 miles per hour but can also be noticeable at 60 or 70
mph. Passengers may also feel this vibration through the floor of the car or even
through the seat.
A. C. Charging
1. Connect an R-134a refrigerant.
Recovery/Recycling/Charging System
to the high-pressure service port and
the low-pressure service port,
following the equipment
instructions, displaying on the unit.
2. Measure the amount of refrigerant oil
removed from the A/C system after
the recovery process is completed.
(Be sure to install the same amount
of new refrigerant oil back into the
A/C system before charging.)
WASHING
Washing :-It is the process of cleaning the car by air or water.
1.) Air Cleaning:- After standing the car dust and other dirt particle are
removed by high pressure air . The air pressure is created by the air
compressor. The air compressor is run on electricity.
2.) Water Cleaning :- The water is under high pressure flow
through the rubber pipe to the car. The water is mixed with
some additive which provides help in cleaning the car and
remove dust and particle from outside the car.
Painting
Painting:- It is the process of giving good
looking and good appearance for the car. It is divided
into two types.
•1.Painting on new parts:- First we were
applying a corrosion resistant coat (layer) on the
metal’s surface for preventing corrosion.
 After this we apply a base coat which is mainly a
bonding material and it is use for creating a
bond between paint and metal surface.
 Bonding material layers width is about many
hundred parts of one centimeter. After this the
car body parts is ready for painting.
2.Painting on accidental part:-When the car parts are struck in the
accident then car part is damage terribly and the car paint is also damage
after remover. Paint remover is a chemical and it takes place reaction with
paint and removes it. As soon as we applied 2k putty body screech which is
made during denting. Later then we gives a base coat on the part surface.

  • 25.
  • 26. Wheel Balancing When car wheels are not properly balanced, there will be vibration when the car is driven at a higher speed on the open road. This often occurs when the car reaches approximately 50 miles per hour but can also be noticeable at 60 or 70 mph. Passengers may also feel this vibration through the floor of the car or even through the seat.
  • 27. A. C. Charging 1. Connect an R-134a refrigerant. Recovery/Recycling/Charging System to the high-pressure service port and the low-pressure service port, following the equipment instructions, displaying on the unit. 2. Measure the amount of refrigerant oil removed from the A/C system after the recovery process is completed. (Be sure to install the same amount of new refrigerant oil back into the A/C system before charging.)
  • 28. WASHING Washing :-It is the process of cleaning the car by air or water. 1.) Air Cleaning:- After standing the car dust and other dirt particle are removed by high pressure air . The air pressure is created by the air compressor. The air compressor is run on electricity.
  • 29. 2.) Water Cleaning :- The water is under high pressure flow through the rubber pipe to the car. The water is mixed with some additive which provides help in cleaning the car and remove dust and particle from outside the car.
  • 30. Painting Painting:- It is the process of giving good looking and good appearance for the car. It is divided into two types. •1.Painting on new parts:- First we were applying a corrosion resistant coat (layer) on the metal’s surface for preventing corrosion.  After this we apply a base coat which is mainly a bonding material and it is use for creating a bond between paint and metal surface.  Bonding material layers width is about many hundred parts of one centimeter. After this the car body parts is ready for painting.
  • 31. 2.Painting on accidental part:-When the car parts are struck in the accident then car part is damage terribly and the car paint is also damage after remover. Paint remover is a chemical and it takes place reaction with paint and removes it. As soon as we applied 2k putty body screech which is made during denting.
