2. What motivates me to become
active in our political system?
u Nothing. When people suggest that a business is ”too big to fail,” they’re
characterizing our government as well. It is nothing more than a business and
our current system will not change because they have effectively enslaved us
and are making a profit from it.
u For as long as I can tolerate it, I will ignore politics and all of that drama and
stress as it is toxic and impedes my happiness. I believe fully that I need to take
this class for my degree, as a direct result of being a slave to this government
corporation.
u If I cared to become active in making changes, I’d attempt to abolish the two
party system, and prohibit any money contributions being donated to anyone in
politics. Campaign’s would be funded by a set number of tax dollars every year,
and will be evenly distributed by every candidate. As candidates drop, unused
funds would be evenly distributed amongst the remaining candidates. This is the
age of technology. I don’t know why face to face meetings or posters or stickers
are even needed anymore. In person meetings play on emotions and are less
honest ANYWAYS.

3. What I’ve learned this semester
that shocked me about the
government process…
u I learned that just as easily as the president can sign in an executive
order, the following president can have it removed. I never truly
knew much about this process but now have a solid grasp on how
it’s legal, and how it can be overturned.
u If I cared to learn anything else about government, it would be any
and all dirty little secrets that they might be keeping from us (we, the
people), that would put more power in our hands. This way I could
exploit these secret powers later on down the road if I cared to. I’m
sure there are good ways to avoid paying certain taxes that I’m not
aware of.
u I didn’t learn anything unexpected from this course really, because I
came into this course with no expectations.

4. WE ARE ALL DOOMED
Consumerism and the Western diet is entirely destroying our
planet. Imagine us taking a cheese grater to our Earth and just
shaving it down, day in and day out. That’s what we are doing. We
are in the midst of a sixth mass extinction and I’m not sure that our
planet will make it through this one. To overcome this issue, we will
have to overcome decades of corporate indoctrination,
corporate and government pushback, religion, and I’m sure many
other factors that I just haven’t spent the time to conceive. The raw
data is abundant and available, so I will not present it here. The
bottom line is that our HOMEs destruction is the largest issue we
face, and I really don’t believe Homo sapiens will ever care
enough to inconvenience themselves, even though our comfort is
at the expense of other sentient beings lives

5. Favorite amendment?
u My favorite amendment is the 2nd amendment because I
really love that I can use a gun to protect my fiancé and our
fur babies from all of the lunatics out there.

6. What I’ll carry with me from this
course…
u This course was the first mini-mester that I’ve ever taken, and I’ve
learned that even though it is indeed challenging, it is doable and I
can be successful in it. I’ve especially learned to be hypervigilant
with due dates. Complacency, even if unintentional… can harm the
student just as much as pure laziness can.
u I’ve learned that the number of people in the House of
Representatives is based off of each states population, while the
Senate has equal representation across the board. I particularly
prefer the population based representation as many of the states
with higher populations have higher education standards. I surely
would hate for MS or LA to be largely represented in any forum
EVER.
