Harley Butler's major is education K-6th grade. Some things that motivate Harley to participate more in the political system include wanting to enact positive changes in their community, such as improving schools or roads. Harley also wants to vote for presidential candidates that will have the biggest positive impact on the United States. Having the ability to fulfill their civic duty and make a difference is also a big motivator.

motivate me
most to
become
active
participant
in our
political
system
Things that make me want to be more
involved include wanting to make
changes to their community, such as
building bigger schools or adding new
roads that are safer to travel on. On the
bigger side of voting when it comes to
the president, I would say who is going
to make the biggest POSITIVE impact on
the United states. Being able to
withhold my duty as a citizen and help
make a difference is a big motivator for
me.

SOCIAL MEDIA
How big of an impact social
media has on voting and how
the media can make small
things turn into something way
bigger than they are. Also, how
social media can change the
way people view certain sides of
parties.
The History
Learning the detailed
history about the United States
was very interesting to me. Most
people never think of where we
came from and how much
EVERYTHING has changed over
the years.
The Presidents
I learned a lot about some of the
presidents and what different
things they have accomplished. I
knew about the different
presidents, but I never knew
exactly what they were best and
most known for.

ABORTIONS
I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT A WOMAN SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE HER OWN DECISIONS ABOUT HER
OWN BODY. I DO NOT FEEL THAT IT IS RIGHT MEN GET TO MAKE THE FINAL DECIDING FACTOR ON
WEATHER OR NOT THE BABY SHOULD BE BORN. THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON IN
OUR PERSONAL LIVES AND THE FACTORS THAT COME INTO PLAY. THEY DONT KNOW THERE LIVING
ARRANGEMTNS, THE RISKS THE MOTHER MIGH ENCOUNTER WHEN GIVING BIRTH TO THE CHILD,
AND DON’T KNOW IF THE MOTHER WILL BE ABLE TO PROVIDE 100% FOR THE CHLD AND TAKE CARE
OF THE CHILD TO THE BEST OF THERE ABILITY. I THINK IN THE FUTURE WHEN THE CHILDREN ARE
COMPLPET OUT NUMBER ANY SUPPLY COMPANY AND MOST KIDS ARE GOING INTO FOSTER CARE,
CPS, OR EVEN AT HOME ABORTIONS THE GOVERNMENT WILL WAKE UP AND REALZE THAT THEY
MADE A MISTAKE. 4

5. The most important of the 27
Amendments to our Constitution
Most people agree that the First Amendment is the most
significant clause in the Bill of Rights. It safeguards the
freedom to hold diverse beliefs and to express them in a
wide range of ways, which are essential rights of
humanity. Americans have the right to practice their
religion freely and are exempt from governmental
pressure to do so thanks to the First Amendment.
Additionally, through fostering an open interchange of
information and ideas, freedoms of speech, the press,
and petitioning enable democratic self-government.
Because popular ideas already enjoy widespread public
backing, the First Amendment places a specific emphasis
on protecting unpopular ideas.

6. Lessons I have learned from this course and will carry
on with me in the future is understanding how things
work within the government. Understanding that it
takes action on everyday events and every decision
you can make is because of the rights we have
concord from the past government rights that have
been out into place. I also enjoyed being able to
discuss topics and be heard, and it not just turn into
an argument. I was happy to take part and say how I
feel about certain topics and hear how others feel and
interoperate the same topic. I enjoyed this class, and
I usually wouldn’t say that about a government class.
