Lighting
 There are two different types of lighting used within the video. There
is the low key lighting which is used when we see the shots of the
band playing and singing. In these shots we see a light behind them
with fans in front of them and a general light to allow the audience to
see them. The use of the light behind the band almost creates a
sense of intimidation and the fans give it a basement kind of
appearance. The other light is natural light for when we see the shots
    of people in the streets.
Costume
 The costumes are all of the same colours
apart from the drummer who is wearing a
white shirt, however he wears a black tie
linking him with the other members and a
guitarist wearing a red-ish jumper which
can only be identified by the lighting
behind showing this occasionally. The use
of the black helps to enforce the rock
genre as black is associated with rock/
punk music. Also the use of this colours
match the low key lighting so it clearly
represents what sort of genre this video
    and song is.
Location
 The main location that is seen within the video is
that of which resembles a basement rave due to
dark lighting and the people of whom are jumping
up and down and dancing. The other locations
cant be properly identified as they are just shots of
people on different streets getting pillows of which
we aren't revealed to why that is until later on in
    the video.
Editing
                                                    Video showing fast paced editing:
 The cutting that is used in the video really
matches with the pace and beat of the
music as for example when a little bit after
the second chorus the pace gets faster to
match the music which builds up that
party, rebellious atmosphere of which the
    song withholds and cleverly representing
    the title of the song.

 There is a narrative to this due to the fact
that the shots seen of people grabbing
pillows progresses to all them ending up
at this concert type event where there is
then a pillow fight; the use of cross cutting
    helps to enforce this.
Cinematography/ Mise En
    Scene
 The opening shot we see a long shot of the bands set with
smoke blowing behind it and with the bright lights setting a
rebellious and in a way dangerous mood due to the use of the
smoke. Throughout the video we see various close ups which
immediately make the audience focus on him more as the
lights behind him highlight him but also because you see a
close up of his face, listening to his words which almost
represents that he’s talking to you as well as the people in the
video. This in turn goes with the title as its ‘I’ Predict A Riot so
you’re listening and watching only him. The other variety of
long shots show the band as one giving them a strong Video showing examples
presence, linking with the mixture of close ups on the crowd, of camera movements:
almost building up this army. The use of slow motion shots of
when the crowd is pillow fighting draws in the audience more
as it did me as you get to focus on their expressions that are
smiling which then has the effect of making you smile as you
feel involved. Camera movements such as crabs, tilts and
track in and outs are used to assist in building up the
rebellious atmosphere that is intended. Whenever the camera
tracks in or out you notice that its not a smooth track it’s a very
quick and sharp enforcing the atmosphere.
