Kailash Gupta is pursuing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Information Science at the University of North Texas. He has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. His work experience includes receiving grants for Haiti earthquake relief efforts and setting up emergency operations centers in India. He has responded to disasters in India and has publications in emergency management journals. His research interests include analyzing information practices in mass fatality management across cultures.
