This literature review explores the predictors of grit, defined as perseverance and passion for achieving long-term goals, emphasizing psychological factors such as growth mindset, task goal orientation, and hope, as well as demographic variables like family influence and gender. The review analyzes 13 journals published between 2014 and 2020 and highlights the importance of grit in educational performance and mental health. It concludes that further longitudinal and experimental research is needed to substantiate theoretical studies on grit.
