The Never Quit Challenge 300 was a jet ski endurance race held in Lake Havasu, Arizona that allowed combat wounded veterans and volunteers to participate in teams. Justin Mellon volunteered as a pit crew member, helping to service seven jet skis during pit stops by securing the watercraft and ensuring pit safety. While the team had a rough start, they were able to overcome challenges through working together. Mellon felt a sense of satisfaction and appreciation from the racers after completing the long, grueling day. The Phoenix Patriot Foundation aims to support injured veterans' recovery and independence through tailored programs that enable them to return to service within their communities.
