«NUTRITION & SUSTAINABILITY» The role of Inner Wheel during EXPO 2015 – Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. By Luisa Vinciguerra
Without water and air, life on Earth would not be possible. There is another resource of equal importance, without which humanity could not survive for very long. But few people are aware
of its importance and most tend to take it for granted. As a result, it is fast disappearing and, unless that trend is reversed, the consequences are likely to be grave.
That resource is agricultural biodiversity.
Diversity for Life is a global awareness campaign to inspire a new appreciation of one of the world’s most undervalued and vital resources: AGRICULTURAL BIODIVERSITY.

Miami Reggae Festival Nov 23rd at Peacock Park in Miami. Rockers Movement is a non-profit (501)c(3) organization. Enabling Change + Creating Solutions
Mission
Our events are designed as family fun filled days of community empowerment, environmental awareness and social justice with an urgent humanitarian effort to end hunger. A call to action! Music and movements go hand-in-hand: music has been a key part of social change. It gives us an outlet to express that which we care about, a quality of life concept to bring the knowledge of need through the arts.
The objective behind the 3-day Konkan Fruit Festival, is to preserve agricultural biodiversity and elements of our food culture that are linked to these fruit varieties – soursop, mangosteen, karaunda and many others –before they are lost.
The festival – first held in 2003 – enables about 20,000 visitors from Goa to learn about and even buy these fruits and allows farmers to get produce across to a market.

We depend on bees and other pollinators for our existence. They play a vital role in agriculture and global
ecosystems by maintaining our food supply and contributing to biodiversity and other ecosystem services.
The vast majority of pollinators are wild, including over 20 000 species of bees and many types of butterflies,
birds, bats and other insects. However, in many areas, bees, pollinators, and many other insects are declining in
abundance and diversity. Most of these drivers are human-induced.
The celebration of World Bee Day on 20 May presents an opportunity to call for global cooperation and
solidarity to ensure that we prioritize efforts to protect bees and other pollinators, thereby mitigating threats
posed to food security and agricultural livelihoods and defending against biodiversity loss and environmental
degradation. World Bee Day is also an occasion to raise awareness of how everyone can make a difference to
support, restore and enhance the role of pollinators.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.
