A short presentation on Social Media strategies for the faculties of VESIT. This is an introductory presentation, the untold strategies are revealed during the workshop.
These slides are part of a talk to school teachers. They were designed to showcase some of the applications of organic chemistry, the range of natural and synthetic products. I'm not sure how much use it is without my commentary but, as always, it seems a waste to leave it on my hard drive. The second half gave a overview of chirality and stereoisomers as this topic often causes problems with students. This second half owes a lot to an excellent paper by Robert Gawley (J. Chem. Ed. 2005, 82, 1009) and just has prettier papers. This version of the talk includes a section I removed when presenting (due to time) on artificial sweeteners.
Eating food is simple. But eating simple is one of the most difficult things today. There is not enough natural spring water available to all. And we are not able to digest raw wild green grasses and plants anymore. In addition, there is the temptation of cheap junk food.

Breakfast Cereal is the important in a healthful breakfast, nonetheless only if you pick the right one. Many cereals are unfortunately prepared with refined grains and several are laced with added sugar. Not withstanding this, many cereals hype their health benefits. Do not be misinformed by bold print attractive packs that claim about vitamins and minerals, or even claims - contains whole grains. You should have your own preference at the same time considering fiber content of your cereal. Cereal that provides minimum 5 to 6 grams of fiber per serving shall be given preference, but then again you will still need those loads of nuts, fruits, vegetables, and seeds in the day to complete your target of fiber i.e. 30 grams.
