Subject:- Clarification on pay fixations of New recruited JTO.
Ref: a) BSNL H/O letter No. 1-11/2009 Pat(BSNL) dated 31-03-2009
b) BSNL H/O letter No.1-14/2009 PAT (BSNL) dated 16-04-2010.
Your kind reference is invited to above referred letters. It is intimated that the instructions vide
the referred letters w.r.t. pay of JTOs may be construed as below:-
(a) For JTO Batch 2005 who joined after 1-01-2007 their Pay may be fixed at Rs. 21620/- as per
BSNL H/O letter as mentioned at S.No. 'b' above
(b) For JTOs recruited after 1-01-2007 and before 05-03-2009, their pay may be fixed and
personal pay shall be allowed as per BSNL H/O letter as mentioned at S.No 'a' above.
(c) No Personal Pay is to be allowed for JTOs who recruited after 05-03-2009 or who have never
drawn pay in the scale of 9850-250-14600.
This issues with the approval of Competent authority.
