The official language is Arabic. English, though without an official status, is widely  spoken throughout the country and is the de  facto language of commerce and banking, as well  as a co-official status in the education sector. JORDAN POLITICS Jordan's most executive power is the King and it is a constitutional monarchy with a representative government. The king signs and executes all laws. The constitution provides for three categories of courts: civil, religious, and special. Administratively. Jordan has multi-party politics.
YEMEN RELIGION Religion in Yemen consists primarily of two principal Islamic religious groups: 52% of the Muslim population is Sunni and 46% is Shi'a.   Less than 1% of Yemenis are non-Muslim, adhering to Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, and atheism.
JORDAN GEOGRAPHY Jordan lies between latitudes 29° and 34° N, and longitudes 35° and 40° E. Major cities include the capital Amman in the northwest, Irbid, Jerash and Zarqa, in the north. Madaba, Karak andAqaba in the south.  The major characteristic of the climate is humid. The highest point in the country is Jabal Umm al Dami.
JORDAN ECONOMY Jordan is a small country with limited natural resources. The main obstacles to Jordan's economy are scarce water supplies, complete reliance on oil imports for energy.  Jordan has one of the largest uranium reserves in the world .  Phosphate mines at the south of the kingdom enable Jordan to be one of the largest producers and exporters of this mineral in the world
