John McCain had a long political career and survived over 5 years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. He endured extreme torture that nearly cost him his life on multiple occasions. A prison guard drew a cross in the sand that gave McCain faith and helped him survive in his prison cell. Despite losing the 2008 presidential election, McCain stood against tax cuts for the rich that did not support middle-class Americans. The document inspires continued education, success, and persevering through challenges with support.

McCain – P. O. W.
John McCain, politically, and still currently, is a part of our history, and
the United States future, and an influence, of many different traits,
character,truths and values, and lies, as he has admitted himself, publicly
speaking. This to me, is a selection of whom I picked, because, that truly
defines people, as to what being human is a part of, entailing into each of
us, humanly speaking. We all our, a part of history, an influence in our
country, have different traits and character,but defined by, what we
choose do with it in our lives. Truths and values are instilled in us at a
very young age, and we are the deciding factor on that as well.
John McCain definitely has a trail of records that prove of how
important his education was to him, graduating high school, then on to
U.S Naval Academy,and graduated from National War College.
Referring back, to on the way he behaved throughout his schooling
years,they weren’t always of the best, but did succeed with completion.
In his 5 plus years of being in captivity, being a P.O.W.,held in Vietnam,
after having to eject from his warplane, was captured,tortured with
techniques, of such force, as him nearly being brought to the point of
death, many times over. As stated by him, “This cross became my
symbol of faith, the faith that unites and never divides, the faith that
bridges the gap in unbridgeable humility”, in which, all war is about, our
faiths, and propaganda that distributes in the end, failure. One of the
prison guards, who occasionally did well to him, drew the cross in the
sand with his shoe, and that to John McCain is what carried him through
in his prison cell, known as, “The Plantation”.
In his loss, to being elected as our President in 2008, and had in
previous years been very well known in the Political World, he stated
that “I cannot in good conscience support a tax cut, to the rich, at the
expense of middle class Americans, who need it the most”, in which to
me is a system of the government, being of a so called,” money blood
suckers”, to the American people, to gain wealth, power, and control, in
which he stood not for, and neither do I.
In conclusion, a person who has the enrichment, as well as being
enlightened to continue on, no matter the cost, is a person with a proven
record of the meaning, mission accomplished. Motivationally, inspiring
me to continue forward, with education, having success in all areas of my
life, and jumping over the hurdles, with such a force,with myself, and a
support system, that in the end of doing so, officially can I, as well as

2. anyone can say, mission accomplished, my task is done, and to always
put into effect,forward march, and onto the next.
