Job summary 
 Is responsible for flying a passengers and/or cargo 
on long or short-haul flights for leisure, business or 
commercial purposes by the safe and efficient 
operation of the aircraft and the safety of crew and 
passengers.
Scope and Effect 
 This position is responsible for flying the airplane 
approximately 5 days in a week, for meeting 
operating the aircraft economically, ensuring smooth 
and efficient functioning, and taking care of time 
management.
Responsibilities and duties 
 Flying airplane (50%) 
Start engines, operate controls, and pilot airplanes to 
transport passengers, mail, or freight, while adhering to 
flight plans, regulations, and procedures and contact 
control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions, 
and other information, using radio equipment. 
KPI: number of flight that have done weekly. 
Least acceptable performance standards: 80/100 
numbers of flight that have completed monthly.

 Passengers safety and comfort (25%) : 
Check aircraft by contact with maintenance service 
and checking by computer prior to flights to ensure 
that the engines, controls, instruments, and other 
systems are functioning properly. 
KPI: numbers of flights that have completed safely. 
Least acceptable performance standard: 
100/100 of flights that have done.

 Check the weather (25%) : 
A typical day may start with the pilot using computer skills 
to check weather and flight plans to make sure the flight 
can be completed safely and legally. This includes knowing 
where the good weather is if things really go bad. 
KPI: number of decision was made in the sudden change 
of weather. 
Least acceptable performance standard: 80/100 
number of decision was taken in the bad weather 
condition.
Complexity of tasks 
 All tasks are related (100%). 
 There are many choices to make decision if its 
needed it. 
 The pilot has the freedom to take any action without 
go back to manager.
Guidelines 
 The pilot guidelines is a general policies and its all a 
general statement. 
 Its applicable to all aspect of work. 
 The pilot have constraints and judgmental demands 
placed on employee.
Supervisory control 
 Pilot: 
Manage a pilot vice and four cabin crew in the 
airplane. Is responsible for the overall direction, 
coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out 
supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the 
organization’s policies and applicable laws. 
Responsibilities including assigning, and directing 
work, appraising performance and resolving problems.

Job specifications 
 Related work experience: 
Experience Piloting corporate aircraft preferred. 2-5 
years of experience in piloting commercial aircraft 
required. 
 Formal education or equivalent: 
Bachelor’s degree of equivalent preferred and airline 
Transport Pilot (ATP) certification with appropriate 
type rating.

 Skills: 
Must have strong level of an understanding of maths 
and physics. Must have the ability to think quickly and 
make decisions in difficult situations. Must have 
leadership skills, with the ability to give clear 
commands to cabin crew and passengers. 
 Training: 
Training on some technical skills.

  • 3. Job summary  Is responsible for flying a passengers and/or cargo on long or short-haul flights for leisure, business or commercial purposes by the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the safety of crew and passengers.
  • 4. Scope and Effect  This position is responsible for flying the airplane approximately 5 days in a week, for meeting operating the aircraft economically, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning, and taking care of time management.
  • 5. Responsibilities and duties  Flying airplane (50%) Start engines, operate controls, and pilot airplanes to transport passengers, mail, or freight, while adhering to flight plans, regulations, and procedures and contact control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions, and other information, using radio equipment. KPI: number of flight that have done weekly. Least acceptable performance standards: 80/100 numbers of flight that have completed monthly.

Cont…  Passengers safety and comfort (25%) : Check aircraft by contact with maintenance service and checking by computer prior to flights to ensure that the engines, controls, instruments, and other systems are functioning properly. KPI: numbers of flights that have completed safely. Least acceptable performance standard: 100/100 of flights that have done.
  • 7. Cont…  Check the weather (25%) : A typical day may start with the pilot using computer skills to check weather and flight plans to make sure the flight can be completed safely and legally. This includes knowing where the good weather is if things really go bad. KPI: number of decision was made in the sudden change of weather. Least acceptable performance standard: 80/100 number of decision was taken in the bad weather condition.
  • 8. Complexity of tasks  All tasks are related (100%).  There are many choices to make decision if its needed it.  The pilot has the freedom to take any action without go back to manager.
  • 9. Guidelines  The pilot guidelines is a general policies and its all a general statement.  Its applicable to all aspect of work.  The pilot have constraints and judgmental demands placed on employee.
  • 10. Supervisory control  Pilot: Manage a pilot vice and four cabin crew in the airplane. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities including assigning, and directing work, appraising performance and resolving problems.

  • 12. Work environmental  The work environment involves every day a high risk and discomfort which require special range of safety precautions.  The risks such as ( high place, weather changing, cosmic radiation).
  • 13. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids  The pilot use the airplane, safety and navigation systems and communications tools.
  • 14. Job specifications  Related work experience: Experience Piloting corporate aircraft preferred. 2-5 years of experience in piloting commercial aircraft required.  Formal education or equivalent: Bachelor’s degree of equivalent preferred and airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification with appropriate type rating.
  • 15. Cont…  Skills: Must have strong level of an understanding of maths and physics. Must have the ability to think quickly and make decisions in difficult situations. Must have leadership skills, with the ability to give clear commands to cabin crew and passengers.  Training: Training on some technical skills.
