job.
It is a statement describing the job in such as its
title, location, duties and working conditions.
In other words , it tell us WHAT TO BE DONE , AND
HOW IT IS TO BE DONE AND WHY .
The preparation of job description is necessary
before a vacancy is advertised.
Job specification is a standard of personnel and
designates the qualities required for an acceptable
performance.
It is based on job description. It is a written
statement of qualification, traits , physical and
mental characteristics that an individual must
possess to perform job.
In other words, it refers to a summary of the
personnel characteristics required for a job.
It answers the questions , WHAT HUMAN TRAITS AND
EXPERICENCE ARE NEEDED TO DO THE JOB WELL.
Job evaluation is an orderly and systematic
process of determining the wages for the job in
relation to other job.
It is a process of rewarding the job after it has
been analyzed. Each job should be paid or
priced according to its real value.
In fact job evaluation is concerned with
translating, in terms of money , the qualities
required for performing the job.
The aim of the majority of system of job
evaluation is to establish Equality.
