Joan’s Visions By the age of 12, Joan was hearing voices of what she believed to be saints. Her first official vision was of Archangel Michael telling her to have greater faith in God. Charles the Dauphin Charles was the dauphin of France, and the heir to the throne. After figuring out that Joan was a girl, he put her through a series of tests. Joan’s Goals Goal #1: To lift the siege Orléans. Goal #2: To see the crowning of the dauphin as the King of France.
Joan in the Military She was the first woman in medieval society to lead an army. Joan led her army to Orléans which lead to a string of battles which Joan won.
