Government of India realized in the year 2008 that there is huge
deficiency of skilled manpower in India and 500 million skilled
workforce will be required by 2022.

office of J.K.Cement Ltd.
2011 – established J.K. Centre for Technician Training, a 3 months certified technician
course at Kamlanagar, Kanpur, U.P.
2012 – established an approved training centre of Indian Institute of Welding (authorized
national body of international welding association) at Dadanagar, industrial area of
Kanpur (U.P.)
2013 – adopted 2 Government ITIs at Keshoraipatan and Sheoganj under PPP mode for
improvement in infrastructure and skill development programme.
2014 – established JKCTT Private Industrial Training Institute, imparting NCVT certified
welder training.
2015 – established JKITI – Dada Nagar, mini ITI imparting 2 years NCVT affiliated course
in various trades. Also adopted 2 more Government ITIs in Rajasthan under PPP mode.
