Jitsi is proposed as the communication standard during the pandemic period. It is a free and open-source video conferencing solution that can be used as the main platform for video conferences. The minimum requirements to run a Jitsi server include a computer with 2 CPUs, 4GB RAM, 50GB storage and 50Mbps internet bandwidth. Tuning can be done to optimize the server performance, such as enabling TCP BBR congestion control and disabling audio/video settings. Jitsi is concluded to be a suitable platform for video conferences during this period as it is free, has no user limits and can help organizations reduce dependency on other commercial solutions.
