Jing is a free screen recording and screen capture software that allows users to create short tutorials and share them online. It works on both Mac and Windows computers. Users can capture their screen, add audio narration, and then share the tutorial on Screencast.com, which provides 25GB of free web hosting for Jing tutorials. This document provides instructions for librarians and others to learn the basic features of Jing and create a short tutorial to help patrons or for other instructional purposes.
