2. Make
a
significant
contribution
to
a
technology
driven
organization
utilizing
my
communications,
leadership,
and
technical
skills.
My
focus
over
the
last
12
years
has
been
on
Professional
Services
related
to
data
storage
and
life
cycle
management.
Over
twenty
years
of
IT
experience
has
given
me
the
perspective
and
insight
to
make
meaningful
contributions
at
all
levels
of
the
IT
Organization.
3. I
am
originally
from
Arizona
and
lived
there
until
graduating
from
college.
After
living
in
California
for
4
years
I
moved
to
Fredericksburg
Virginia
in
1993.
I
have
lived
with
my
family
in
Richmond
Virginia
since
2000.
My
at-‐home
family
includes
my
lovely
wife
Mary
and
two
Children,
Samuel
(12)
and
Claire
(16).
I
also
have
a
daughter
Bridget,
who
has
graduated
from
college
and
is
now
starting
a
family
of
her
own.
Hobbies
include
fishing
and
attending
local
sporting
events.
My
son
and
I
have
season
tickets
for
Richmond
Spiders
football.
We
attend
VCU
and
Washington
Nationals
sporting
events
as
well.
I
enjoy
maintaining
my
home
network
which
includes
a
NAS
storage
system.
I
have
a
passion
for
the
fast
paced
atmosphere
of
the
modern
IT
environment.
Successfully
working
with
technology
to
meet
the
needs
of
clients
is
something
which
has
always
given
me
a
high
degree
of
satisfaction.
I
take
pride
in
the
fact
that
I
have
been
able
to
maintain
technical
skills
while
developing
management
skills.

5. Ø Data
Migration
Project
Wrap-‐Up
Jim,
Clint’s
role
just
came
up
in
passing
yesterday
while
we
were
onsite.
I
think
they
are
over
it,
there’s
nothing
to
do
now
anyways.
Pete
expressly
stated
that
without
you
on
the
project
the
s**t
would
have
hit
the
fan.
He
was
very
complimentary
and
if
you
know
Pete,
that
means
a
lot.
Good
job!

Ø Consulting
with
an
important
Customer
“Thanks
to
you
Jim.
You
did
a
really
nice
job
coming
on
site,
white
boarding
their
backup
environment
&
how
will
work
with
networker.
Also
appreciate
you
laying
out
and
committing
to
schedule
of
this
week
and
next
to
be
up
&
running
with
customer.
Great
having
you
in
account.
You
were
a
very
powerful
resource
in
my
biggest
account.”

Ø Managing
the
integration
of
a
complex
solution,
note
to
my
supervisor
“Steve,
I
just
wanted
to
drop
you
a
short
note
to
let
you
know
that
I
am
working
on
a
very
strategic
win
at
Children's
hospital
in
Virginia
at
the
moment,
they
were
a
12
year
netapp
customer.
We
have
one
of
your
team
members
assigned
as
the
project
manager
Jim
Tibbs.
This
customer
knows
nothing
about
how
EMC
operate
except
from
our
sales
and
presales
teams.
I
am
now
working
on
the
project
to
architect
the
solution
for
the
customer
and
wanted
to
let
you
know
that
Jim
Tibbs
did
an
incredible
job
presenting
to
the
customer
and
walking
them
through
our
methodologies.
He
is
an
asset
to
the
organisation
and
I
was
proud
to
stand
beside
him
as
part
of
our
team,
the
customer
walked
away
from
the
initial
kickoff
meeting
knowing
that
we
have
solid
processes
and
direction.”

6. Ø Comments
from
former
Supervisor
“
…….
We
talk
about
people
having
the
EMC
DNA
and
Jim
is
a
great
example
of
someone
that
does.
Jim
is
one
of
the
most
conscientious
people
I
have
run
across
here
at
EMC.
He
immerses
himself
into
his
role
and
sacrifices
a
great
deal
of
his
personal
life
to
keep
customer
satisfaction
high
and
his
employees
happy.
In
fact,
Jim
actually
does
this
to
a
fault
where
he
doesn’t
balance
his
home
life
with
work.
He
is
extremely
diligent
when
it
comes
to
escalations
and
takes
complete
ownership
of
customer
issues
………
……….
He
truly
cares
and
knows
enough
about
the
business
to
be
a
great
asset
to
you
…….”

Ø Stepping
up
to
put
together
a
Professional
Services
proposal
for
a
large
client
“Thanks
Jim
for
spearheading
this…I
really
am
sorry
to
dump
this
in
your
lap,
but
you
are
one
of
the
managers
within
EMC
that
I
trust
to
get
things
done!”
-‐EMC2
GlaxoSmithKline

2008.
Ø Getting
the
job
done
“Thanks
so
much
for
going
above
and
beyond
to
meet
this
customer's
expectations.
With
guys
like
you
on
the
team,
its
no
wonder
why
we
are
leading
the
IT
world.”
-‐EMC2

2009.
Ø Leveraging
organizational
relationships
“You
do
realize
if
this
was
anyone
else
on
short
notice
my
answer
would
have
been
no!
