Positions

EMC2 Corporation – Richmond, VA., June 2000 to January 2012

During most of my time at EMC2 I worked in the Enterprise Professional Services group. Roles performed
include Software Consultant, Solutions Architect, Team Lead, Delivery Manager, and Project Manager.
Beginning in December of 2009 I served in the Project Management role. Duties included all aspects of
customer satisfaction, technical consulting, training, escalations, partner management, process improvement,
financial management, forecasting, and sales support.

County of Henrico – Richmond, VA, March 1997 to May 2000

Employed by Henrico County as a Systems and Network Administrator. Primary responsibilities included the
administration of modern HP-UX and AIX-based UNIX servers. I held the lead responsibility for these systems.
I also managed Henrico’s Network Management System (NMS). The NMS featured HP OpenView Network
Node Manager and CiscoWorks, including CWSI Campus. The NMS was used to monitor, isolate faults,
configure, and back up the configuration of Henrico’s LAN/WAN assets. Other duties at Henrico included
Cisco PIX firewall configuration and monitoring, and Windows Server/Workstation Support.

Department of the Navy – Dahlgren, VA, October 1992 to February 1997
Naval Surface Warfare Center, TOMAHAWK Program

Employed as a full time UNIX System Administrator and Group Leader supporting a distributed system of
HP/Sun workstations and servers. These computing assets provided the development environment for the
Advanced TOMAHAWK Weapon Control System (ATWCS). Duties ran the full gamut of UNIX System
Administration: programming, system/network integration, configuration management, security, short and long
term planning, procurement, and consultation services both within and outside of the TOMAHAWK
community. I held a Department of Defense security clearance.

Department of the Navy – Pt Hueneme, CA, November 1989 to September 1992
Naval Surface Warfare Center, Engineering Directorate

Employed as a full time System Administrator with responsibilities for a group of networked Sun workstations
and servers, as well as a classified network of VAX/VMS mini computers. Duties included regular scheduled
maintenance, system security, performance, system programming, configuration management, user education,
and technology evaluation. My duties required a Department of Defense security clearance.
